Recently, Cuban Minister of Communications Carlos and his entourage visited Yuchai in Guangxi, and signed a memorandum of cooperation with Yuchai for the 20,000-engine export Cuba project. The signing of this agreement means that in the next few years, Cuba will become a significant growth point for Yuchai's overseas markets. Carlos also expressed the hope that Yuchai’s cooperation with Yuchai will be further strengthened. At the same time, Yuchai’s delegation will be invited to participate in the 10th transportation expo held in Cuba in September this year to show Yuchai’s high-quality diesel engines. It is reported that Cuba is Yuchai’s relatively early and relatively stable overseas market. So far, the number of Yuchai brand diesel engines has reached 4,000 in Cuba, mainly diesel engines. In another development, relevant departments and companies of the Cuban government have been in close contact with foreign auto companies such as Dongfeng, North Mercedes-Benz and Shenyang Jinbei, as well as foreign trade companies such as China Automotive Industry Import and Export Corporation. They are interested in purchasing bulk vehicles and diesel engines in large quantities.
