Zhongce high-power energy-saving ship development project passed the acceptance

On June 15th, the Ningbo Major Science and Technology Plan Project, “Development of High-Power Energy-Saving Marine Diesel Engine”, which was jointly undertaken by Ningbo Zhongce Power Electromechanical Group Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang University, passed the acceptance inspection organized by Ningbo Science and Technology Bureau.

On behalf of the project team, Shen Jianhua, executive deputy director of the Technology Development Department of China Strategic Group, introduced the implementation of the company on the day of the project acceptance meeting. The technical staff then made technical reports on design, process and standardization.

After listening to and reviewing the relevant materials, the expert group questioned the implementation of the project. After careful discussion, the participating experts believed that the project had fully completed the required R&D tasks, reached the main technical indicators, and agreed to pass the project acceptance.

In October 2008, Zhongce Group cooperated with Zhejiang University to jointly undertake the development project of high-power energy-saving marine diesel engine. Both parties improved the design of the fuel injection system, optimized the structure of the combustion chamber, strengthened the critical heat-receiving parts, and matched the intake and exhaust. The technical means such as the process have achieved the goal of strengthening the design of the whole machine.

It is reported that the project uses ultra-high pressure ratio axial flow supercharger and high efficiency intercooler to optimize intake and exhaust timing, complete Miller cycle combustion process, reduce fuel consumption rate, reduce nitrogen oxide emissions; use high quality valves, The cylinder liner and piston ring material improve the heat resistance, wear resistance and corrosion resistance of key components and improve the reliability of the whole machine. After three years of research and development, the main technical content and indicators of the project have achieved the expected goals. The project successfully passed the acceptance and will provide strong technical support for the next step of the Group's production of more powerful energy-saving and environmentally friendly diesel engines.
