Panasonic plans to invest $1.6 billion to build a battery plant

The 30,000-ton/year dimethyl carbonate (DMC) project of Dongying Haike Xinyuan Chemical Co., Ltd. has all been completed and will be put into production in the near future. It will become the single DMC production facility with the largest single production capacity in China. By then, the company's total production capacity of DMC and propylene glycol will reach 50,000 tons/year and 40,000 tons/year, respectively.

Recently, Haike Xinyuan Company also committed to the research and development of dimethyl carbonate in gasoline anti-knocking agent and diesel oxygenating agent, and achieved breakthrough progress. The company has preliminarily possessed the promotion and application technology of DMC in petrol antiknock agent and diesel oxygenation agent, and started a small-scale test sale.
