If the tension is too small, the rigidity of the wire will be insufficient, and the vibration will increase, which will affect the dimensional accuracy and roughness of the workpiece. If the tension is too large, the wire will be broken. The working medium coolant during the electrolytic etching process has a direct influence on the pulse discharge process, so the machine must ensure sufficient coolant during the working process. When the amount of electrolytic corrosion products in the coolant increases, a short circuit is caused during the processing to cause the wire to be broken, so the coolant must be replaced after it is dirty.
