One, zero

1. Prepare distilled or tap water;

2. Clean the prism surface;

3. Drop approximately 0.3ml of water onto the prism surface;

4. Press the "START" button, and the Brix value will be displayed after the arrow on the display flashes three times.

5. If 0.0% is displayed, the zero adjustment has been successful;

6. If the display is not 0.0%, press the "ZERO" key to re-zero;

7. The instrument displays 0000. Zero adjustment is complete. Use a soft cloth or paper towel to wipe off the water from the prism. At this point, the sample can be measured.

Second, the test sample

1. Clean the prism surface;

2. Drop approximately 0.3 ml of the measured sample onto the surface of the prism.

3. Press the "START" button;

4. The display shows the Brix value;

5. The Brix value will be displayed for one minute. To shut down, press and hold the START button for more than 2 seconds.

6. Wipe off the sample, add some water to the prism and dry it.

Note: Do not use a metal scoop when adding the sample to the prism surface to avoid scratching the prism surface.

If the temperature of the sample is different from the temperature of the prism surface, the sample should be placed on the surface of the prism for a period of time before measurement.

Third, the error message

AAA: Zeroing error.

1. When zeroed, no distilled water was placed on the surface of the prism.

2. When zeroing, the prism surface is filled with other solutions instead of distilled water.

LLL: Sample error.

1. During the test, no sample was placed.

2. Battery energy is low.

HHH: Out of range

Sample measurement above 53% (PAL-1)

←: Temperature error

Prism surface temperature below 10°C or above 40°C

Daily maintenance:

1. After the measurement is completed, use a paper towel to wipe the sample on the surface of the prism, and then add a few drops of water to the surface of the prism. Use a paper towel to clean the surface of the prism and the sample table. Be careful not to use too much force, or use paper and cloth that is not soft enough to scratch the surface of the prism.

2: The instrument does not press any key within 5 minutes, it will automatically enter the standby state, the monitor is off, it is normal condition.

3: Avoid direct sunlight on the prism surface during measurement.

4: If the battery runs out of power, it should be replaced as soon as possible to avoid leakage.

5: Can be washed directly with the tap water for a short time (within 10 seconds), but it cannot be soaked in water.

6: Avoid dropping and bumping. Pay special attention when installing the battery. Use coins, do not use screwdrivers, avoid getting the battery cover dirty, or damage the threads and lose the fixing effect.

7: Plastic housing, avoid the use of organic solvents.
