In the next, the Hunan Expressway's non-stop charging and access network work has progressed rapidly and is fully covered during the year. The implementation of mature ETCs is of great significance for improving efficiency, energy saving and emission reduction, intensive management, and facilitating the people. The key is to form economies of scale as soon as possible. The provincial and municipal competent departments of transportation shall firmly grasp the general trend of development in transportation, form a joint force in the implementation of ETC, advance in a coordinated manner, establish a "military order", and lay a "fighting campaign."

At the end of 2013, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Jinlu ETC system had been networked. In March this year, the Ministry of Transport formally issued a notice to start the national highway ETC networking work. Based on the long-term development of road network construction and management, the implementation of national ETC networking project will be implemented in batches and in a timely manner. At the end of the year, the national ETC network was basically realized. The ETC coverage rate of mainline toll stations reached 100%, and the number of ETC users nationwide reached 20 million. At present, all provinces are accelerating the progress of the nationwide networking.
