On September 15, 2013, Qinghai Oilfield LNG Railway Transport LNG test was successfully carried out in the grid-pull section of the Qinghai-Tibet line, filling the gap in domestic LNG rail transport and effectively reducing LNG transportation costs. Starting in August this year, Qinghai Oilfield LNG Company organized 3 grid-to-pull LNG rail transport tests to fully test the insulation performance, sealing performance and data transmission reliability of LNG tank containers. On September 15, the last group of experiments arrived safely in Tibet Nagqu using LNG tank containers. The trial transport expert group unanimously believed that the quality of the LNG tanks used in the tests met the requirements of the railway transportation. The adaptability of the escort safety monitoring system operation and the management of the transport process all met the test expectations. The success of this on-line operation test is of great significance in promoting the official opening of the LNG rail transport business and will play an active role in promoting the domestic LNG sales network.
