Cummins announced that it had appointed Sherry Aaholm as the new Chief Information Officer (CIO) on June 24, which was previously the senior executive of the Federal Express Information Technology Department.

Marya Rose, chief executive officer and deputy president of Cummins, said: “We are very honored to join Aaholm. The CIO position is more complex and important than before. People who hold this position at Cummins need to be strategic planners at the same time. The role of collaborators."

Prior to joining Cummins, Sherry Aaholm worked for FedEx Corporation for more than 15 years. She recently held a position at the company as Executive Vice President of Information Technology, responsible for Nissan’s global infrastructure operations, including global data centers, and overall Architecture strategy and IT standards.
