The graphite ore has a fine particle size, varying from 0.35 to 0.03 mm in length, 0.05 to 0.003 mm in width, and 15:1 to 3:1 in aspect ratio; concentrated in length 0.2 to 0.05 mm, width 0.025 to 0.005 mm, length and width. Between 10:1~5:1. Graphite crystals tend to be burr-like around, and the degree of graphite crystallization is poor. According to the characteristics of Baoji graphite mine, the multi-stage grinding multi-stage sorting process can obtain 87.60% of graphite concentrate containing graphite carbon, and the recovery rate is 91.38%.
